Pastor Zach has been with
Bethel since September 1, 2020
Born and raised in Maryland, Pastor Zach was baptized into the Christian faith and raised in the Lutheran tradition. Pastor Zach felt his call to ministry when he preached his first sermon at Roanoke College. While being active in campus ministry and many other things, Pastor Zach majored in business administration and Christian studies. After graduating from Roanoke College in 2017, he attended Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, NJ, where he obtained his Master of Divinity degree. Pastor Zach came to Bethel in September 2020 to do his internship/vicar year. After being approved for ordination through the Delaware-Maryland Synod, Bethel called Pastor Zach to be their Pastor in August 2021. Pastor Zach was ordained in October 2021, and he was officially installed as Bethel’s Pastor on March 13, 2022.

Pastor Zach & Pastor Amy
were married in August 2020
Pastor Zach and his wife Amy, who serves as Associate Pastor at St. Philip’s Lutheran Church in the Pike Creek suburb of Wilmington, were married in August 2020. They are enjoying married life together with long walks through the ice cream aisle, getting to know their communities, and serving the Lord.
